I have taught computer applications, primarily Microsoft Office, and other introduction courses for the computer information systems department, both online & traditional, for almost ten years at Mt. San Jacinto College. In addition to teaching online for MSJC, I am an avid faculty trainer in course design & management and I coordinate the MSJC Academy, a three-day professional development event each semester. In 2013 I worked as the instructional designer on the MSJC Crafting and Effective Writer MOOC. I have a BS in Management Information Systems from CSU San Marcos, and a MS in Instructional Design for Online Learning from Capella University. Outside of MSJC I have worked as a technology trainer independently and as part of @ONE, a technology training grant funded by the CA Community College Chancellor's Office, for many years. I was previously the @ONE Online Teaching Certification Program Coordinator, Educational Project Coordinator, and the Project Director. I am currently working for Mt. San Jacinto College as the Associate Dean of Distance Education & Professional Development. For more information about me check out my contact info.
